Redoing heads and tails

This forum is big and this subject has probably been covered before but if you keep returning the heads and tails to your wash and putting it through your still, wouldn’t it follow that you would have increasingly greater amounts of heads and tails and eventually it would not be feasible to do this? Be nice to me.

I alwys thought heads could accumilate, but I dont recycle them myself so are not worried. I like recycling tails cos I beleive it builds up flavour.

@woods318 Lol yes but lots of different opinions some dont recycle heads some recycle heads and tails but only three times personally if doing a lot the same i keep heads and tails and then do an all feints run(100 % heads and tails) and I dont keep feints of a feints run. But after more thought I am only gunna do very late heads and tails :handgesturesthumbupleft: like last bottle heads. Usually I dont bother with feints..

There is one distillery i know of that keeps running heads and tails in their washes as their theory is that heads and tails compounds clump together and concentrate in the run so you are always taking the same sized heads and tails cuts.

By increasing the concentration of the heads and tails they boil at lower and higher temps (respectively).

Altho most people with a bubbler only ever bother with a feints run, feints of feints you toss the tails and keep the heads as cleaner.
