Second time it's been posted here.

The date of the article is August last year, he has obviously revolutionized the industry as clearly the only product on the shelves are his these days..... (Insert sarcastic smiley :teasing-tease: )

Maybe, however I'm guessing, as I don't work directly with the industry, that the distillery industry is quite a traditional business model.
Probably boutique distilleries might be the first to adopt but $4000 a month for 2500 liters of finished liquor doesn't sound cheap. That's an extra $2 a liter almost. Maybe a saving over startup costs on warehousing barrels though.

Well people do pay a premium for older spirits, isnt johnny blue 20yrs or 25yrs old and that stuff goes for about $200 for 500ml.
Making a $73 litre of azeotrope and then the extra processing cost of $2 is still only $16.25 per 500ml bottle of 46%.
So if you then sell it for $150 thats still quite a nice profit.

+1 the inventor has his head screwed on offers a aging service rather than a technology, but I guess if it does really work then it's only a matter of time till detailed info on the process leakS.
