Hi Redux

where in this piece of paradise have you landed ?

check out the home-brew shops, still spirits make oak spirals.
be surprised if you can't import oak dominos from Oz sellers.
small casks/ barrels hard to find here.

cheers

Maybe try and scope out some local wineries? For old staves or inserts?

hiya Demo...... ive washed up in Queenstown at the mo but im looking at anywhere south of Dunedin.... where are you?

ive spoken to the home brew shop in invercargilll, he had still spirits stuff and some bourbon chunks..... im after stave wood to split and toast myself. ill ask at the cardrona distillery when im over that way next week and see what they say.

i might email ROTB and see if they ship internationally...

cheers Redux

I haven't been there yet but I also sussed out some plain American oak from a local timber yard/building supplies place.
Or another option might be see if you can contact a local furniture maker, they might be able to point you in the right direction?
