I picked up 6 water Fire extinguishers from gumtree for $30.

I'm going to use them for aging and storage.

I have finished one but still have another 5 to go. I just need to put a base on it so it can stand up by itself

Very nice. I have 3 of those and 2x23 liter jobbies. I've just been wrapping the top with tin foil and a rubber band.

Yeah i was worried if they got knocked over and i lost everything inside. That's why i put a ferrule & end cap on.

How did you get the stainless looking that good.
I have a couple of 20L kegs that could do with a polish like that

I just removed the paint off them and gave them a quick buff.

Don't have access to a tame boily anymore now I'm back in Perth. Wonder how much it would cost to get a welder to put 2" ferrules on five of them?

If they are a workshop that deals with stainless all the time then probably $200.
Its only 2" so shouldnt take too long if they are used to TIG work.
I would think 20mins a ferrule would be plenty of time.
Just make sure you remove any paint for thwm as prep and setup time would be the killer.

But hey its not my workshop, i dont even have a workshop.

Recycling gone mad :laughing-rolling:
Good work Josh, wish I’d thought of that instead of killing 6 corny kegs :music-deathmetal:
