reusing/repairing old barrels

I don't think that's uncommon mate I now a guy using a barrel to make a table that's been empty for a couple of years an he can't get the top band back on.

Maybe it was sitting on it for a while and deformed a bit?

Coopering skills can't be to bad, barely lost a ltr curing it :D

equipment: 100 litre boiler with a 4 in 5 plate bubbler on top with a 500 packed section standing by if needed
