Hi,
Has anyone heard of oak bullets ?
I mannaged to get hold of 30kg of them today, from a local vinyard.
They look like dowel pieces, but about 1" long, with a star surface (heaps of surface area).
These had been used to control oaking in red wine, should impart a nice flavour to rum.
