can someone tell me of some good store bought staves/chips they have used with great success please? all types please thank you

Still spirits American gobbler bourban chips aren't to bad I find.the packets arnt that big tho. :handgestures-thumbupleft: grab a few and find the one you like mate,cause what someone likes you might not! :handgestures-thumbupleft: !

Yer try a few mate,some I soak for a week or two then put through a strainer,then put fresh chips back in to give a stronger taste.but yer give em all a try,.! :handgestures-thumbupleft:

+1 on the gobblers. Best hbs ones I've tried. Beware there is some absolute shockers out there!

i bought the 100g packets of ss bourbon staves, medium toasted french oak, american oak chips. i did about 5 1L bottles using them alone or in combination. I was AMAZED that they produced such different taste. so get a variety and have a play. you will find a favorite.
