I’ve been using the JD staves for the last couple of CFW’s
I cut them into domino type chunks nothing more and have had great results so far.
These are about 5mm wide and about 50mm long

end grain is on the end of the board
there isn`t end grain unless you crosscut
staves are not crosscut
so let her fly i say

That gumtree ad is a bit old. In case they are out and haven't removed the ad, this one is a bit more recent. Will chase this one today and get some sent to the sunshine coast

Is the 5mm section the inner charred side of stave and the width just the standard stave width ? Hope you understand what I mean. :-B
