Using air to age

Postby Chips Molasses » Sat Jun 07, 2014 10:10 am

After visiting Doc he showed me how you could use an aquarium stone and pump to aerate spirit and remove less desirable elements, and accelerate ageing. I have had a pump running for a while on a demijohn of heady spirit. It's no substitute for making better cuts, and time in the glass on oak, but I must admit, it does clean it up a bit.

Delete this if it's superfluous.
