Sounds too sciency for me, I reckon they should have just filled some barrels and flown around with them. Interesting concept, do the angels take a share in outer space? If not then that's probably not a good thing :think:

I think the base of the experiment probably has nothing to do with maturation, Ardbeg has just somehow managed to get in on it. Maybe supplying one of the items they needed?
