Good Morning All

As usual, sorry if this has been discussed before......

I will be a away from home for about a month and I am just stripping my last rum wash. I will now have 6 gallons of low wines to run on my return home. Is there any benefit/ downfall to popping a bit of toasted oak into the low wines until I get back to run them?

Trying to get ahead of the aging game

Cheers :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I don't think it will age it at all considering you will do a spirit run after a month. I haven't done a flavor run so maybe you may get a slightly different flavor but i wouldn't think it would be much. i would save your oak for when you really want to age it otherwise it may cost more than is needed for the same result :handgestures-thumbupleft:
