Has anyone made Greek rose liqueur?

Can't find much info on which rose petals to use.

There's some good info on roses in the Great Gin Recipe Discussion.

Most of the David Austin roses are good and quite a lot of the Old Fashioned varieties... I mostly have "Mr Lincoln" variety for vodka and liqueurs.
