Honey Bourbon

Has anyone got a good honey bourbon recipe. leaning more towards the JD style , not the wild turkey one. Using real honey would be good but i'm all new to this and not sure what you can get away with.cheers

Made honey rum once 10% fermentables were honey :puke-huge:

50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

Talk to me bluc. I’ve got nearly a ton of honey in the shed. Would be keen to see how I could use some of it to make something special.

I have not made honey bourbon but have made Krupnik ( spiced honey vodka) and a Honey Oat Vodka. Both turned out well. If you are interested in the recipes I will start another thread.

Op google search for honey bear burbon. It uses a honey malt. May get you where you want to be..
