Today I managed to manufacture the botanical basket out if 304 SS perforated sheet (4mm holes)
A nice tight fit. I cut to size on the door operated guillotine and then rolled in in the sheet roller. Then Tig welded it together with little tacks.
Here are the initial pics. I'll out some more of the finished product later this evening when I go take the pics lol.
In the end I welded a hande on the top to pull the basket out with a hook or something. That party was mega rushed as I ran out of time. After I clean it all up, I din't think I'll redo it coz it should be strong enough.
