Cheap 50L Fermenters??

Postby Heffers » Thu Apr 14, 2011 6:53 pm

I have just moved up to a keg as my boiler so naturally I would like to able to fermenter in larger batches rather than in two smaller ones. What are people using to ferment and clear large batches in because I don't fancy paying $70 odd dollars for a 60L fermenter from my LHBS.

Cheers in advance, Heffers

Tilkeys drum recyclers - 80 ltr drums are from memory about $13.00, they cotained citric acid or that acid they put in softdrink. They are UN specified containers so they are good quality.

They also have 135 ltr drums for about $15.00.
