Hey BT,all I could suggest is to check out midway or similar, looking for what they call a "weld on SS fitting" then just solder it on,not sure though if the SS OD is the same as copper OD

Would something like this suit bt1?. We have them aywork and I'm pretty sure they come from kembla copper supplies. They don't sell direct to the public buy will tell you who they supply to. There a weld on unit but can be soldered like cupcake said.

The plumbing fittings dont come into contact with the product. Use good old cheap brass here.

A 3/8" bsp male nipple cut in half works well.

I've looked high and low for a supplier in Aus. No luck yet. Can you order them from your link above?

I make my own if I need them.

Howdy,

re discovered Prochem a specialist SS vendor based in all Capital cities ...they have a very nice 316L grade SS adapter sleeve / nipple for 1/2" copper to 3/8" or any combination of sizes realistically. Mine required about .1mm taken out with dremel to fit snug.

Very helpfull and they really know their stuff, much a pleasure to have a chat as well.

If your chasing bsp, SS, adapters etc give them a try.
