Thought I'd share my first parrot. Turned out well. Just gotta polish it up now and hit it with some laquer.

Fired up the pot still today but there was a leak in one of my TIG welds... Bummer. re-did it and will try again tomorrow.

Onwards and upwards!

Nice looking parrot mate :handgestures-thumbupleft: you may want to make a small bend on the parrot collection reducer. Might make it a little easier to align the flow of your spirit

I gotta say it looks nice.. I also gotta say the body looks to short. How long is the body. Id say it needs to be 12 inches. I guess it would make a diff on the legnth of your alcometer. I could be wrong and it could just be the pic. Good luck.

Depends on the length of the alcometer, but 30cm is a big alcometer!

My alcometer is about 17cm, and it works just fine...

The body of the parrot is 200 mm long.

Seems to work really well with the meter I have.

Will let you all know if I run into trouble but looking good so far!

That's how long the FSD ones are too, except for our commercial model.... they fit the mid sized brew shop alcometer perfectly :handgestures-thumbupleft:
