2"VM advice

Postby Canuck » Tue Dec 03, 2013 7:33 am

built a 2" but not completely soldered up yet. wondering about a centering ring under 2" tee, thoughts? top pic is a copper funnel I found for 25 bucks, neat and useful for adding sugar to my washes (other thing is my old boiler). second pic is condenser for VM, thinking on the top was it wont be sealed, and cheaper than a 2" cap. pics 3 and 4 are centering ring which is a cut off 2" bushing. input good or not so good is appreciated.

Centering ring probably isn't all that necessary with such a small column, but it won't hurt either way :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Depends how long your column is .Most woudn't bother if under 1 meter but would add one if 1.5 meters
