Can anyone here confirm with any degree of certainty that these don't contain any/dangerous levels of lead? And do these count as copper when it comes to removing sulphides, seeing brass is a copper alloy? Apart from these I'm having a hard time finding any reasonably priced scrubbers. I might otherwise try a supermarket for some stainless pot scrubbers then have some copper in as well.
You can find copper mesh out there easy enough, but it ain't cheap. 5 Star stocks it and it is a very good product - the favoured mesh for distilling.
