my take on a trombone

I've just been tinkering in the workshop, with condensers on my mind and this is the result ..... a three tuba


I hav'nt silver soldered any thing yet , and I'm asking for opinions on lengths of the tubes , the inner is 1/2" , the middle tube is 3/4" and the outer tube is 1" , vapour inlet and outlet are both 3/4"

The vapour path length was/is 710mm inside " cooling chamber", but can be any length coz it ain't welded up yet :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:
I have redesigned it for reduced use of fittings so it'll cost less and make it more appealling to the eye

When I was muckin' in the shed I had BD's 747 in mind as well as some info i gathered from here in regard to stripping a wash as fast as the condenser could handle :o :o
I was thinking it wouldn't be long enough to handle the 747 :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Nah SBB I haven't done anything with it , its all in bits back in the copper fittings box atm , bloody hunnydoo's are gettin' in the road all the fuken time :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead:

It's actually a form, used for forming :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: 1/16" wood veneer around to bring the thickness to approx 3/4" and then lathed back to fit a tone ring and hold the banjo together really it's a lot more technical than that but that'll do
