OK that's all the convincing I need, I will remove it from the web store as soon as I get back to my main computer, I don't want to be selling anything that draws so many complaints :handgestures-thumbdown:

The stuff is so time consuming to roll into saleable size rolls, and I've got enough here for myself & better things to do than waste time rolling, storing and supplying it for so much negative feedback.

It's no longer available :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I'd go with a lack of cleaning effort is the issue ... seriously it's no biggy to clean.

Pity to see it go Mac, cos it works a bloody treat and I for one very grateful you can supply. It's that far in front of scoria as a scrubbing mtl is not in the same class.

Did you use ss scrubbers as well?, I topped my packed section up with them. My scrubbers came with soap on them so I've had soak rinse soak rinse etc to try and get the soap off.

Did you do the vinegar and sacrificial runs?

I repeated the cleaning process twice more & it was well worth the extra effort to get the copper mesh clean :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I have just blended my 1st run through the packed section & are very impressed with product

I've just placed an order for some more of the same copper mesh due to all the enquiries we've been getting asking us for more, it's the same mesh from the same supplier, they've agreed to degrease it for us too :happy-partydance:

Obviously as with any new copper it will still require cleaning run to be done, should be here within the fortnight if people want to pre order as I've only got 50kg coming this time. ;-)

Cheers.

Cleaning mine at the moment, stumbled in here looking for the best advice WRT cleaning. Etching in citric ATM after boiling it in detergent. I don't mind cleaning, It's all part of the DIY, but a piece of paper jammed with the invoice, or a note on the items webpage detailing the best cleaning method would be ace :handgestures-thumbupleft: Would save a lot of time over scouting forums and Google.
Anyways, it's definitely good value and i'm glad you decided to continue stocking it!

Mac,

Does this mean I wont have to worry about degreasing?? :happy-partydance:  :handgestures-thumbupleft:

For a $1 a pop I plan on grabbing some from cheap as cheaps and running a vingear run/sac run anyway.

Cheers,
