:angry-banghead: broke my original one aswell on the weekend.

Really shouldn't try diluting while drunk but the 3 bottles i had done that day magically disappeared that night between a couple of my mates. :violence-smack:

refractometers, never leave home without them. I've got both gravity and alcohol versions, they rock. Just take a tiny alc sample whilst running and bang a reading.

Nice work mate, thats a simple and crafty solution you have there. I've haven't broken a hydrometer or alcometer so far and to ensure that smooth record I reckon I'll be knocking up a little holder for them soon. Piss easy

Another one bites the dust :angry-banghead:

Drying on top of the bottle tree and put another jar against it to dry and knocked it onto the concrete, had the hopeful thought it was OK because it was still intact but no. The bottom is all broken :crying-blue:

I knocked my alcometer off of the bench the other day, it bounced on the cement and landed in the dirt... In one piece!
