So at the moment I only have the copper reflux still. Ive got hold of a 1000L IBC but now im in need of a pump ive been looking at these:

but im curious as to what flow would be needed im defiantly upgrading to a bubbler later this year so i think i might aswell get something to suit it now as well.

EDIT if i go thew 750 watt i can control the flow fine? wont hurt the pump

Hi jacobraven,

There are a number of threads here outlining recirculating cooling systems that people have implemented. Most of them use a manifold on the outlet of the pump that allows you to direct the flow to the condenser/s and return some of it back to the tank so that there is always water flowing through the pump to ensure it doesn't get damaged. I think there's even one where Mac posted a diagram of how it's all connected along with photos.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
