Was moving some stuff around in the distilling area today, found some cracked corn and enzymes, trying my first corn mash :D

up to gen 3 at the mo... i think after 4 gens ill have a keg full of low wines...

im not sure if ill spirit run it as sonn as the keg is full or leave it till winter and do it on a snowy saturday...

I have cooked the cracked corn, barley and wheat for a couple of hours for all my BWKO ferments.
Have not run any yet to see how it tastes. I'm totally green but did it hoping it will bring flavour out.
(Beer keg stockpot on gas)

the assistant ran it 2 weeks ago... hes aired it and lightly oaked it ( 2 weeks so far)

fanfuckingtastic!!! amazing flavour and super smooth already.... the yield was 8-9 litres@ 60%.

Good to hear redux, i have always thought about a uj style corn wash but never tried it after not really liking the cfw. Were the low wines run through the bubbler?

Pure corn sugarhead is alright, you can definitely taste the corn but for me it got to be a bit sweet even with backset. The other grains in a BWKO help to give it a bit more character.
