I notice there is no HONEY SHINE RECIPE in the tried and proven section, have any members got a 50 litre recipe for honey shine likker and procedure for mixing the ingredients into fermentation vessel following the steps???

Ive had honey vodka but they make a vodka and then add honey after distilling so its not really the same.
Using honey as your base sugar seems like a really expensive idea, unless you have your own hives and harvesting gear.

I wonder if there is a way to make a honey tincture so that you get the flavours without the bulk sweetness?

equipment: 4 plate 6" copper bubbler, 6 plate 4" glass bubbler with 500mm packed section three way thumper sitting on a 50 ltr keg boiler with 6000watts, 2" pot still and a 2" boka.
