DiSaronno Originale Amaretto

Hi Guys,

I found a pretty convincing recipe for a replica DiSaronno Originale amaretto, over at this site. http://www.homebrewunderground.com/52/homemade-amaretto-liqueur-part-1/

I'm going to try it at some stage. It's certainly more involved than your standard liqueur recipe.

If anyone tries this recipe, I'd love to know how it went.

>1/4 cup apricot pits

You can get these from a decent chinese grocery store... They usually have a herbal section, and you can find these there... They're ivory white and look like large split peas in shape...

Ok, so this process has taken a little longer than expected. No other reason than I was being a slacker! I've finally mixed up the finished product tonight, I'm impressed. She's tasty. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Now I just have to mix & bottle the remaining 8 bottles worth. :-D
