Sazerac Rye Whiskey recipe

I am very fond of Sazerac Rye Whiskey and was looking for a proven recipe here but search shows up nada.

Does anyone have a recipe that they have used with good results - any pointers as well will be greatly appreciated

Sorry mate, never heard of it.

But having a look around the internet to see if there are any clues that might help, found this:

So there hasn't been a grain bill for it specifically but based on these articles it seems to be a blend of a number of things... Best Sazerac Recipe see if this will get you going...

Thanks mate, yes Sazerac is a cocktail hence skewing the google results.

There has to be a rye whiskey recipe that is close to it somewhere!

I assume you are talking about the whisky that is actually branded as Sazerac?

I don't enjoy too many american whiskys but I did like this one :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Sazerac is a damm nice drop, spicy in all the right areas.

The cocktail even more so. Boozy and warm with a nice kick to it.

One of my favorite Rye's and their 18 yo is out of this world. Inspired my Rye Whiskey :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Will be interesting to taste what Sazerac does with SOCO!!!
