I mixed up a drink for my wife a few years back that she really liked so I decided to try & replicate it from scratch.
This is very popular amongst family & friends.
You may ask why 4.5L but I do not remember! May have been all the neutral I had at the time? but more likely to have been made in a 5L demijohn & I wanted to be sure I had enough room? Adjust the volume to whatever you like.

Robs Delight

Makes app. 4.6L

Ingredients:
4.5L of 40% neutral spirits.
5ml ( couple of dashes) of PGF Pure Anise Extract (or * 5 drops Aniseed essential oil).
200g Treacle (app 3 tbl spoons, mix in cup with small amount of hot water).
10 black jellybeans (or 16 mini black jellybeans).
7g per L of used once Amer. or French traditionally toasted dominoes/staves.
4 Lipton Forest Fruit tea bags.

Method:
Add the Jellybeans to the spirit, stir occasionally until the black has dissolved from the beans ( if left for any length of time the alcohol will eat into the white jelly ( depending on the quality of the beans ) & make it difficult to strain later on i.e. it will clog the coffee filter / cheese cloth etc.
Filter through cheese cloth & remove the beans.
Add the tea bags & leave overnight, stirring occasionally if possible.
Remove the tea bags.
Add the aniseed extract.
Mix the Treacle with a little hot water in a cup, then add to spirit, stir.

To give a little time for everything to fuse together, I throw in app 30g of once slightly used American or French oak dominoes and leave it for a month.

Remove the oak & filter through a coffee filter (preferred) but if that’s too slow, use a cheese cloth (or nylon stocking) again..

* Leave 3 month’s if Aniseed Essential oil is used so the aniseed oil can infuse properly.

Bottle.

Just a quick safety note - If using essentials oils please make sure they are meant for human consumption first. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Interesting GAD,
how would you describe the flavour outcome of this?

Hi EziTasting

Main taste is from the "Forest Fruit" tea bags as to what fruits ?
Can also taste the black jellybean flavour & the sweetness from the Treacle.
While most drink with Diet Coke or Coke you can also taste the coke.

I really don't know how to describe the taste, I guess if you threw a "Forest Fruit" tea bag & some sugar into a glass with some neutral, coke & stirred, it wouldn't be too far off the taste of this.
