Hey tas when you do "pot still mode"do you just not use the rc? Do you still get the plates loaded?

They load at first then bubble a bit throughout the run, not much though, the abv is up about 10-15% compared to running with the 500mm packed section(I use it as a column unpacked in pot mode),saves me pulling it apart for strip runs. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

When you did the sparged craked corn do you remember what your grain bill and total volume was?

3.5kg corn and 1.8kg malt roughly, mashed in with 18L and sparged with 10L. Ended up with 23L. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Sampling this tonight, the AO med that was on UJ, very smooth, slight maltiness, bit nutty, very subtle vanilla with a slight oak finish. It taste like Irish Whiskey to me, another 12 months and it will be super smooth. Very happy so far. :happy-partydance:
