Yep! Well, live and learn. I've blended all the bourbon chip with the European oak at a 2:1 ratio. The black stuff is WAY over oaked, but, fuck it, I'll drink it anyway

Personally I hate over oaked shit , it tastes like cold black tea infused with Swedish bitters. Life is to short to drink that, I would run some more a blend it . Problem solvered :-B

I was thinking that. I'm gonna pass some through some carbon to see of it cleans up a little first.
