I use whole eggs, the yolk adds a richness (not that this recipe needs it 8-} ). And I use a cake mixer and chop it up to get nice and aerated.

Stiff peaks are not the aim here as it gets knocked down when you add the alc and condensed milk. The weight and viscosity of the condensed milk takes the air out of stiff peaks.

Well at this time of year I've made 5 bottles of this and swapped the choc topping with some ice coffee syrup for the sixth one and now I may just have a new favourite :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Just made a batch with 12 week old CFW.

Mrs Griff says 'this eggnog tastes like a chocolate milkshake with whiskey!' with a weird look on her face...

I made my first couple bottles last night, one with bkor and one with tpw. They both smell really nice. I'm not normally into milky alcohol drinks but i reckon this should be nice! .I'll be trialing some tonight :handgestures-thumbupleft:
Is this supposed to be like a bailey's or an eggnog?

I've used 3 month aged CFW this year, and it's pretty good! Either way works, you might have to make both and see what you prefer 8-}

I reckon oaked is the only way. It's the difference between 70% and 100% IMHO.

Just made up a 4x batch of this stuff and came out around the 4.75L mark of the stuff using TPW neutral :o :laughing-rolling:

Of course I had to sample some for quality control purposes as I made it :music-deathmetal:

Glad I put it into 250mL bottles so it might slow me down from going overboard at all the family xmas gatherings :))
