$20 for 40kg or $18 for 25kg down in Tassie

20kg bag of barley is $14 hre in brissy, over capalaba produce. 40kg would be about $20 i would (as a guess) say as their price drops dramatically every measument you go up.

Cracked corn about $14 per 10kg or 20kg for $18. amazing

think they might do wheat, not sure didnt ask but they do not do rye, was the one i was after.

So stripped the first fermenter only cuz I'm using the bore to cool it and it doesn't get much use so I thought something might go wrong but nope all good got almost 4.5 litres stripped down to 20%

This may be a stupid question but my corn has bugs in it is this spoilt now or can I sift them out and keep using for further ferments

Extra flavour!!
I put my corn in with 20 liters of boiling water. I do larger batches. Works fine. Not sure about trying to keep or add fresh corn to the yeast bed though.
I would add the corn with boiling water to kill everything then add fresh yeast.

How much flavour is retained with this run through a reflux? My pot isn't ready yet and I'm considering this as a precursor to ag runs when the pot still is complete.
