careful with checking abv after. a dspirit with dunder and wash in it changes SG. the alcometer will be slightly out now, like checking an essence bottle for ABV, its not spot on. If you know your starting ABV and there is no or minimal evaporation than this would be good. I always tr to keep my numbers and watch them evaporate. although my last one went in at 68% then when i bottled it it was 70% :laughing-rolling: Im not always accurate 8-}
