Any feed back around as these seem the only two local options

They both appear to be similar stills.
Both overpriced.
There are other options out there that will be better for you in the long term. Modular is the way to go. 5 Star Distilling is one of the options should you venture down that path.
As for the 2 stills you mention? Both will give you a good neutral product on the back of a decent wash and the correct driving skills
If they are your only options?
Go for the cheapest :handgestures-thumbupleft:

The Mac-boka is a thing and is out.
Maybe not promoted the best outside of this web-forum.

Email or better yet call sue from 5star and ask the question.

:text-+1: on the Mac Boka. Easy to run and makes excellent neutral. Definitely worth a call to 5 Star before you dive in.

Just one question though, are you only interested in making vodka/neutral?

Cheers,

In that case, if you do go for the Mac Boka, you can start off making neutral with it right away and, later on, add some extra 2" TC parts to the straight pipe section of the boka (with the packing removed) and run it as a 2" pot still for the other 20% of the time. Oh the joy of a modular still!
