hi- has anyone here used the Euro 5 litre reflux still made by Spirits Unlimited from NZ?

I looked at that one, but no sorry haven't used it. A 5 Litre still is probably only big enough for essences though, go the 30L if you'd like to make spirits.

Hi JT. My first still was a Euro60 from spirits unlimited same still just a lot bigger :handgestures-thumbupleft:
what is the packing in your column?
you can run a euro as a reflux or detune it and run it as a pot still.
my euro made a lot of good liquor but it was at its best making neutral spirits.
. I have my notes on running a euro somewhere will dig them out if you are interested.
The Euro 5 is on far right of the picture and the euro60 is far left
you should expect about a 1 hour warm up, 1&1/2 hours run time giving you about 500ml of 90% neutral which when made up will give you a 1125ml bottle at 40%
have you checked out the TPW recipe as a alternative to Turbo yeasts?
