HBS Pot Head

Postby WhiteLightning » Mon Sep 26, 2011 6:06 pm

Hey All,

I just acquired a Still Spirits pot head to go with the S/S 25l 3-in-1.

I had some (vague) advice regarding a Corn Mash bourbon using cracked corn to avoid cooking the mash.

Does anyone have recipes/times/temps that I could use as a guide? I've had a couple of reflux condensers, but this is a whole new game......

Any help/guidance/assistance would be greatly appreciated,

:text-thankyoublue: in advance

Hi there lightening. Have a read through the recipes there is some good stuff on "no mash" style "whiskeys".

I'd also recommend checking the ad and hd sites for more specific detail as well.

If youve run a reflux column you'll have no worries with a pot still, just have to learn about the cuts and you'll be fine.
