Aussiedistiller, Home Distilling, Moonshine, Home Brew

Hi. As some mightk know, I'm after a new still. It was suggested that I look for a pure distillation one and low and behold, there is one on gumtree. However, it is around 10yrs old. Does age have anything to do with it in terms of advancements ? It is $180....

i think pure distilling has only been going for about 9 years. so if its 10 years old its probably not a puredistilling unit
