Dextrose and sugar?

If a set wash recipe calls for 2.2kg and you only have 2kg dextrose....

Just leave it, or make up with 200gm sugar?

cheers

both will work.
150g would be closer to the mark but thats just being picky
What is the recipee for and what size?
Guessing with fruit or other fermentables or small batch size

Just the turbo wash I got free with still, I know its not best, n i have a TWP clearing as we speak, but just using it up.

I put it on this morning, 10ltr batch or 9ltr to be precise, added 2kg dextrose n turbo yeast.

Just wondering if leave it or throw in a tad more sugar

?

I'd just leave it, the less sugar the better for turbo yeast if you plan on drinking it.

LOL thanks, yes plan on drinking it, it will be distilled twice with cuts AND filtered so shouldnt be too bad, but at least will give me a baseline on how much better my TPW is.. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Turbo packs can even be cut into 3rd's (3 ferments out of 1 pack) to end up with a better (but slower) result
