You dont need to pull the glasses down for cleaning for the gereral run of the mill. There is the odd time, but I suspect most guys don't pull them off.
You can add CIP plumbing and spray balls if you want to go to extremes, but for general cleaning, I just boil up a little water after each eun and steam it up a bit. You can add a hose port to the top arm so some wash water goes down each side of the bend, fitted with a shut off valve for running the still.
Lots of things you can do.

Well googe that is what the commercial guys in krautland do due to the fact that their stills are all sealed with those seals like electric fusebox meters have because the Tax office there so ultra retentive about collecting every single pfennig that comes out the monitored out put (can't have theivin bastards scoring 30 ml of tax free piss left in the column ya know)

From the Holstein website

CIP Cleaning System
Effective cleaning of the entire distillation unit by means of
integrated high-pressure rinsing system. Rotating all access
nozzles enable rinsing of all components, which can be
cleaned with either hot water or cleaning agents. Clean
copper surfaces guarantee the highest distillate quality.
Using the cleaning system is as simple as can be.

:D

This is the real world, living with a still knowledge I lack. I had thought that you really need to scrub (mechanical scouring) the internal surfaces regularly to keep the rig in good order (Such a beginner)
