Welding dissimilar metals

Ok, I might or might not have a problem. I am thinking of welding carbon steel legs to the bottom of my keg. The legs already have wheels attached and we’re the right price.
What is the best way to weld these to my keg?
Am I barking mad thinking they can be welded or should I silver solder?

I belive they can be mig welded.

Another option could be to weld a carbon steel frame and wheels and bolt the keg to that frame....

Just grab a stainless steel rod [i have done more than a few] :oops:

309 welding rods are the correct rods for carbon to stainless steel but any stainless rods will work for us on the hobby level
If you’re worried about welding to the keg itself, just weld em to the bottom ring that the keg sits on :handgestures-thumbupleft:
