I use soft solder execpt for joining the 1/4" easy flange ring, where I use hard solder I get from my plumber. Not sure on it's % sorry. I really like the bernzomatic solder and flux kit but can't get hold of it any more. I've been using the aquasafe roll from bunnings on this build with 801 liquid flux and it works pretty good but I don't like it as much. It is a lot cheaper though :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Thanks for that.
What about copper to stainless? Anyone had much success using soft solder for copper to stainless?

Yep just use 801 flux and soft solder. It can be a bit tricky getting the heat just right but with a bit of practice it's not too bad.
