Still design- avoiding dead spot in vapour path

Ok so I'm about to put together my vm product condenser and not sure the best way. One problem ive identified is that I should avoid places where condensate should pool.

Some vertical shotgun product condensors present the downward vapor path with a flat horizontal plate (see pic)

Is this a problem. I would have thought that heads would pool here and contaminate the rest of the run.

The colored in section is the horizontal plate into which the vertical tubes are soldered.

just make sure the pipes are flush with the plate ;-)
