I am waiting on a 1000lt water pod from CRT it is
Food grade they store marlases in them so that
Will been my main tank plus I will rinse it out
And prob get 10lts on marlases for free it will
Cost me 150 and some grog they were really
Help full and it is a hell of alot cheaper then buying
A water tank.
Ask you local feed store about then you don't want
The ones that have had teet drench in them if
U plan of using the water unless you want to treat
The plastic witch requires acid and then a base
Or the other way around

The one major problem with the 1000 ltr ibt's is once there full you won't be moving it in a hurry. I am going to use a 200 ltr blue drum on dolly with a radiator small and portable. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Luckily the house came with a rain water tank - about 2000L capacity. And thankfully the rain here in perth over the past few weeks filled it up.

One question on cooling - is there any way to improve the cooling of the pot still (from Mac). My return water is cool, but the product coming out is quite warm especially on a stripping run. I've been turning down the gas which in turn slows the output and reduces the produce temp slightly. Would some loose packing in the leibig help at all? I figure the vapours are cooling from 85C to 35c as it's going through the condensor, but if I could increase the time it takes for the product to come out it should help lower the temp even more - is that about right?

Running the Liebig more horizontal will increase cooling a bit. I would be careful packing the condenser. You don't want it to cause any problems if you have a puke. Off take temperature really does not matter when doing a strip run and at 2-2.5L per hours that I run at for a spirit run my distillate comes off at 17-20 deg.
