t500 mod

hey everyone.
just a silly question...
has anyone ever had the top of a t500 coumn(the plastic bit) milled out of stainless steel or copper?
would be good as then could run as a pot without changing the config.
have seperated the cooling lines so when i turn temp up and down it doesnt affect the condensor.
also made the output bigger at the bottom of the condensor to stop flooding during low wines run.
dont know if anyone has tried but a mate can mill it cheap and wondering if it sounds like a good plan?
any advice would be great.
cheers n happy stillin

Or you could just buy a 2" cap die grind it out a little to fit ss t500 column, soft solder or braze rc outlet, plumb upa couple of vapor outlet elbows, and build a decent liberg. Also make it removable so when you get the shits with it you can put the liberg on a pot to make a decent flavored spirit

Thats what i worked out :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yep go for it. We all have tried a different methods of doing things sometimes they work sometimes they don't.
