Hi Everyone
Im obviously new to this, bought a little air still (i know now probably a waste of money) but i did promise the wife i wouldn't blow the house up :))

so far i have moved onto TPW from that ghastly turbo kit (twas "free" )

anyways back to it :)

literally onto the 30page post regarding this lol . So the cereal adds nutrients and grain flavour? obviously being a pot still i retain some flavour and i do like my Whiskey. As a side question would it matter too much where during the ferment you add this? I assume nutrient helps yeast do get it done, but does it aid the yeast in the other stressers like alch% and heat?

Welcome lockmonkey.

Definitely go with something like WBAB instead of TPW in your air still. If you're going to have flavour carry over, and you probably will, it might as well be a tasty grain one rather then a tomato whisky one!
