Hi from the Whitsundays

Postby brandydod » Sat Dec 07, 2013 4:37 pm

Hi every one, Just starting out and on my 2nd brew. I have a Chinese still off EBay to start with. 8lt. Only interested in rum at the moment. Tried to upload some photos of it but came back as being to big. Not a big computer buff, may figure it out one day. First brew seemed to come out ok. Not blind and only half dead so heading in the right direction. Cheers

Welcome to the forum, go for quality over quantity, good cuts and read through our forums you will be a good distiller in no time...hang on though as it a steep learning curve. just resize your photo to around 600kb.

Welcome bloke,

Never considered death as a reasonable measure of quality given limited opportunities to improve :laughing-rolling:

As suggested earlier get on that post on doing cuts and give yourself a chance to taste/work on brew # 3

enjoy!
