Hi from Springfield Qld

Postby freebeertomorrow » Sat Apr 22, 2017 6:52 pm

Hi,

I'm very happy I've found this forum to help me with my first foray into the world of spirit distilling. If I can remember even just a fraction of what you guys have already forgotten I think I'll be doing alright

Space and time are my enemy so I have started my journey with a Still Spirits Airstill, I know it's a compromise but am hoping I can get the very best from it with cheap palatable bourbon being the end game.

I look forward to learning as much as I can from you, thanks for a great forum.

Welcome mate.

You're not the only person here using and Air Still. There's an excellent guide to running it floating around here somewhere. Use that and you'll surely end up with some decent spirits.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Damn this hobby, I've got two washes under my belt and I've upgraded to a T500 reflux Still already. Lol

I really Like what I've read about the Birdwatchers TPW so hope to be making these soon and leaving the turbo yeasts, carbon and turbo clears behind.

Hey mate welcome, a nice step up and in six months you'll be looking for the next step lol.
I'm on my fourth and in the design stages of a fifth... Where does it end?
If your air still needs a new home let me know I might be looking for a small still for experimental gins oh bugger the Mrs won't like it lol
