Hey everyone,

Just a quick introduction. Been brewing beer (cans) for the past 15 years and got a T500 2 years ago, T500 has been good for a starter and learnt a few lessons but its time to step it up and get into a pot.

Going down the all grain path for beer as i'm over the cans and want a better result so getting a grainfather, so either home made or off the shelf top end to suit that will be on the cards.

Welcome :handgestures-thumbupleft: What size grainfather you getting ? A keg boiler or milk can and one of Macs 4" modular pot sounds like a plan.

Hey WW.

You have definitely found the right place here. Having just started out myself I can attest to the knowledge and patience of this group.

If you are buying, have a good think about where you might want to end up in this hobby. I have built my own pot still, which isn't hard to do at all, and quite inexpensive, however I am now thinking about my next build... a condition everyone seems to be afflicted with :))

If you are wanting to make whisky, bourbon or rum, the pot will be great, having said that, if funds allow, a bubbler will do the same, quicker, and with greater control. It all comes down to coin. You can add a packed section to make neutrals, but you still have your t500 for that. Just up to coin and what you want to do.

anyway, welcome and take advantage of the huge amount of experience here. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
