Hi everyone ive been a member for a while but just bought a copper turbo 500 set up on sunday... yes i know how most people feel about them though it will do me for a while. I paid $450 with a heap of jars 4 30l fermenting containers, filter, and a 55l boiler aswell as the 1 that comes with the kit. I will just be using essence for now maybe some chips if i can be patient.

The T500 isn't the best but many of us started with one and quickly outgrew its capabilities. Some folks are still quite happily using them. Have a read of the "Using a T500 the proper way" thread in the newbie section and throw away any instructions that came with the still.
The 55 litre boiler puts you in good stead for an upgrade later. I would probably start with a modular pot still and use the 55 litre boiler to strip in then use the T500 for your spirit runs. Then if the buf=g really bites you can add the parts for a bubbler as you need.
Whatever you do, you've come to the right place to get you making top notch spirits.

Yea i sorted 1 last night though my lid seem to have a tiny leak i can hear a faint whistle no sure if it matters
