Hello all. My first post here. Many compliments to all of you with all of your knowledge and willingness to share it.
Been making wine and hard cider for decades making beer for a while. Now this.
Just like any hobby, MORE STUFF! I've done lot's of reading and research and had a couple of successful builds and quite a few runs of various whiskey/bourbon recipes (I have a long way to go on cuts though). Looking forward to posting pix for your critiques.
Next project will be either a different Liebig or a shotgun...this building/ soldering is addicting.
Thanx for letting me be in this community.
Hormesis

Welcome Hormesis.

As bluc said, you're off to a good start.

Got any pics of your rig? We love pics...

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Hey again and sorry for the delay.

Just like Bluc pointed out I like a brown drink so my building will lean that direction. After many hours of reading, I'm definitely jonesing for a 4 plate bubbler.
Started gathering parts so I guess I need to start photo documenting.
OK, so here is my first post with a photo .....my only version of a bubbler.....< 1MB taken with an older digital point and shoot.
If I have posted this one propperly I'll post a dozen more as an introduction.
Thanks again for opening your doors.

1 Boka setup on keg.JPG
The bubbler is a stainless filter from Swagelock 7 micron (SS-4F-K4-7) with an aquarium air pump from the thrift store. I attached it to the copper 'wand' by wrapping teflon tape around the copper and jamming the filter on.

Ok so it looks like my first picture post worked. Here's some more as promised/requested.

Ok, learn as I go.
I'll try to put them in some kind of logical order and give them a name next time I have a batch to post. This time I just kind of shotgunned it.
And NO, I DO NOT run any operations in my house. Neither gas or electric. I just hauled all of the stuff inside to photograph.

I've been reading up on bubblers 'cause that's where I want to go next. Gonna have some questions. I've started gathering copper for my build. How does this work?....do I start a thread in the bubbler section?

Another experiment. Adjusting size of photos.
Does anyone see anything wrong with photos or formatting? Most of my photos were with a point and shoot digi and a few were with a cell phone.

Photos are working fine mate :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Start a new thread in the plated column section for your bubbler :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Nice rigs by the way
